When you use LiveableScore we collect the address you search for and your general location (suburb-level, not precise). If you purchase a report we collect your email address and payment details (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your full card number).
If you contact us via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
We use address data solely to calculate and display liveability scores. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your address searches to build profiles or target advertising.
Email addresses from report purchases are used only to deliver your report and for essential service communications.
We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how people use LiveableScore. We do not use advertising cookies. We use Google Maps API to power address search and map display — Google's privacy policy applies to that interaction.
Your data is stored on servers located in Australia and the United States. We retain search data in anonymised, aggregated form only. Personal data from report purchases is retained for 7 years as required by Australian tax law, then deleted.
